Please come and meet historical fiction author Amanda Skenandore! We will be Zooming with Amanda on our big screen in our meeting room. You are welcome to come and watch it on our big screen or Zoom from home. Registration is required for all, and the Zoom link will be sent to you. An ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy) will be given away at the end of this program.

About the book: Una Kelly, a young female drifter on the run in 1880's new York evades the police by conning her way into Bellevue Hospital's training school for nurses. Based on Florence Nightingale's nursing principles, Bellevue is the first school of its kind in the country. About the author:  The author, Amanda Skenandore is a registered nurse, and has done copious research to bring a realistic depiction of 1880's Bellevue to life.  Other books by Amanda are : THE SECOND LIFE OF MIRIELLE WEST, BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY, and THE UNDERTAKER’S ASSISTANT.   Amanda lives with her husband and pet turtle in Las Vegas Nevada.
