So, you are starting Kindergarten! Are you feeling excited? Maybe a little nervous? Maybe even a little sad (caregivers too!)? All of those feelings are normal! Tonight we will read some books about the first day of Kindergarten, talk about what to expect, and provide some activities that practice skills that will help you feel successful and independent at school, such as writing your name, recognizing your name, tying your shoes, raising your hand to ask a question, and forming and walking in a line. You may meet someone who will be in your class!
