Back by Demand! We first met Michael a year ago when we hosted him -IN PERSON- at our library. His slide show presentation had us rolling in the aisles with laughter. Last May, Michael came to Groveland again to participate at our mystery book con. With the success of his first Bria Bartolucci mystery: Murder in an Italian Village, and hearing book two is coming out soon, we invited Michael back to talk about Murder in an Italian Café. Please come to the library and meet Michael if you haven’t yet or zoom from home. Register online.

About the book: Set in beautiful Positano, Italy, the latest novel in a cozy mystery series featuring widowed B&B owner Bria Bartolucci. Though she still misses her late husband, Carlo, Bria couldn't be happier that their dream bed and breakfast, Bella Bella, is humming along nicely. Of course, even on the stunning Amalfi Coast, things seldom run smoothly. Like Bria's mother and mother-in-law dueling over a suitable communion site for Bria's eight-year-old son Marco. Bria's also juggling the demands of the famous TV Chef Lugo, his producer, Massimo, and Pippa, a member of the production crew who is staying at Bella Bella for a nice, long-term stay . . . Until Lugo mysteriously dies on-camera, a victim of apparent murder.

About the author: Michael Falco is a graduate of New York University and has studied at Playwrights Horizons and Gotham Writers Workshop. He currently lives in East Rutherford, NJ, where he is working on the next Bria Bartolucci Mystery.
