We hope you will join us while we zoom live with Pulitzer Prize finalist Gregg Jones! Gregg will be discussing his new book Most Honorable Son: A Forgotten Hero's Fight Against Fascism and Hate During World War II with us.
About the book: Most Honorable Son is a biography of Ben Kuroki, the first Japanese American combat hero of World War II. Ben Kuroki flew 58 missions. Gregg's "59th mission" was to combat the prejudices and racism he continued to endure in his home country.
About the author: Gregg Jones is an American journalist and the author of three critically acclaimed non-fiction books. He has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and was selected as a 2015-2016 Kluge Fellow by the Black Mountain Institute at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress. Jones previous nonfiction books are: Honor in the Dust: Theodore Roosevelt, War in the Philippines, and The Rise and Fall of America's Imperial Dream.
