Joseph and Nicholas Schenck may not be household names like Louis B. Mayer or the Warner brothers but they were infinitely more powerful, influential -and ruthless as the groundbreaking pioneers of the Hollywood Dream Factory! We hope you’ll join us while we zoom live with Moguls’ authors Michael Benson and Craig Singer at our library (or zoom from home). A pair of Russian immigrants, the Schenck brothers turned their small nickelodeon business in New York’s Bowery into a partnership with Loew’s movie theaters and a controlling interest in the three major studios: 20th Century Fox, MGM, and United Artists. The brothers definitely had ties with the mob -thus there were lots of scandals! To learn more, please tune in! Register online below.

Some of his titles are: Gangsters VS Nazis; Who’s Who in the JFK Assassination; The Devil at Genesee Junction Killer Twins, Mommy Deadliest and Betrayal in Blood.
