Soda, soda pop, tonic, soft drink - these are all part of the language of the American beverage scene. Add in spring water, mineral water and sparkling water and you open a wide world of liquid refreshment - all to be explored. Please join us at our library (or zoom from home) while we chat with author Dennis Sasseville (he'll be here in person!) about his book "Granite Fizz". In his talk, Dennis will include fizz beverages native to Massachusetts! Please register so that we can set up accordingly. The author will bring copies of his book to sell for anyone who might be interested.
About the book: In Granite Fizz: The Untold Story of Spring Water and Flavored Tonic in New Hampshire, we explore the roots of the soft drink and mineral water industries and the Granite State’s historic and current role in these significant commercial ventures that touch virtually all of our lives today.
About the author: Dennis Sasseville is an accomplished researcher, author, trainer, and educator. Professionally, he has over forty-five years of diversified experience in environmental management, global sustainability and business advisory services traveling from “Millinocket to the Mohave.” He has made presentations at hundreds of technical and business conferences and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the undergraduate business program at the University of New Hampshire.
