Help us celebrate Halloween by joining this special Zoom program with guest author J.W. Ocker! J.W. Ocker has visited many odd things in his career as a seeker of the strange. But his latest book, Cursed Objects: Strange But True Stories of the World’s Most Infamous Items, involves not just the weird and macabre, but the supernaturally dangerous. He’ll share the stories of some of the most infamous cursed objects in the world, while discussing where to find them and how he fell in love with them.

J.W. is the Lowell Thomas- and Edgar Award-winning author of macabre travelogues, spooky kid’s books, and horror novels. His books include Poe-Land: The Hallowed Haunts of Edgar Allan Poe; A Season with the Witch: The Magic and Mayhem of Halloween in Salem, Massachusetts; Death and Douglas, and Twelve Nights at Rotter House. Ocker is from Maryland but has lived in New Hampshire for more than a decade.
